Reschedule a booking and tell the attendee
Olyvr moves a booking to a new time in Cal.com and drafts a short note to the attendee explaining the change.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The Cal.com plugin connected to the account that owns the booking.
- A Google account connected in Olyvr that you can send from.
Ask Olyvr
Section titled “Ask Olyvr”Move my Thursday 3 pm call with Priya Shah to the next free slot on Friday, and draft a short note to her explaining the change.
What Olyvr does
Section titled “What Olyvr does”- Finds the booking and the attendee, and lists available slots in both time zones.
- Shows the old time, the new time, and whether Cal.com will notify the attendee itself.
- Asks you to approve the reschedule, then reads the booking back.
- Drafts the note based on the confirmed new time.
- You review the note and send it once from the Gmail composer.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”- Cal.com shows one active booking at the new time, and the old slot is free.
- The booking was rescheduled, not cancelled and created again.
- The attendee gets your note once. Any message Cal.com sends on its own is separate.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- The slot is taken before you approve: ask Olyvr to check availability again and pick another slot.
- The attendee is in another time zone: confirm the time shown for them in the preview before approving.
- The reschedule worked but the email failed: send the note again from the composer. Don’t reschedule again. If Olyvr says delivery is uncertain, it won’t send that note again; check Sent before you compose a new one.
