Reconcile task status across three apps

When the same work is tracked in Jira, Asana and Notion and they disagree, Olyvr lays out the differences side by side and updates each app after you approve.

Note

This needs the Jira, Asana and Notion plugins. What Olyvr can do depends on the tools those plugins’ servers offer. Olyvr writes one app at a time and doesn’t roll back earlier writes if a later one fails, and it doesn’t yet detect edits made after you reviewed. Ask it to read all three again before you approve, and after it finishes.

What you need

• The three plugins connected, with permission to update the issue, task and page.
• The exact item in each app, ideally as links.
• A rule for which app is right for each field.

Ask Olyvr

Reconcile the checkout redesign across Jira PAY-412, its Asana task and the Notion roadmap row. Use Jira for status and Asana for owner, and show me the conflicts before changing anything.

What Olyvr does

1. Reads the three items and shows a field-by-field comparison.
2. Applies your rules, and asks when a status or person has no clear match in another app.
3. Shows the exact change for each app. Fields you didn’t mention stay as they are.
4. Asks you to approve each update, one app at a time.
5. Reads all three items again and reports what now matches and what doesn’t.

Check the result

• The fields you named now match in all three apps.
• No task was closed and no unrelated field changed.
• If a step failed, Olyvr says which apps were updated and which weren’t.

If something goes wrong

• The items aren’t linked or the title matches several items: give Olyvr the exact links.
• The status names differ between apps: tell Olyvr how they map, for example Jira “In Review” to Notion “Review”.
• Someone edits an item while you’re reviewing: ask Olyvr to read all three again and show a fresh comparison.
