Append notes to a Notion page
Olyvr can add a decision, meeting notes or a status line to the end of a Notion page, leaving the existing content as it was.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The Notion plugin installed and connected with Sign in with Notion. No API key is needed.
- Edit access to the page.
Ask Olyvr
Section titled “Ask Olyvr”Append “Decision: Maya owns launch communications” to the Team Log page.
What Olyvr does
Section titled “What Olyvr does”- Finds the page. If more than one page has that name, it asks which one.
- Shows the plugin tool and its exact arguments for approval: the page and the content to add.
- Adds the content once you approve, and reports the page link.
Appending adds to the end of the page. If the approval looks like it would replace the page instead, decline it and ask again.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”- Reload the page in Notion. The new note should be at the end, once.
- The existing headings and paragraphs should be unchanged.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- Page not found: the page may not be shared with Olyvr’s connection. Share it in Notion, then ask again.
- Read-only page: you need edit access to append.
- Sign-in expired: reconnect the plugin from Plugins.
- No reply after approving: reload the page before asking again, so the note isn’t added twice.
