Build a project handoff pack for a set audience
Olyvr gathers a project’s current decisions, open questions and next steps into one document written for a specific reader, such as a contractor or a partner team.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The project’s sources in your workspace: imported files or connected accounts.
- A clear description of the audience and what they must not see.
Ask Olyvr
Section titled “Ask Olyvr”Prepare a handoff pack for our contractor, Brightline Studio, with the current decisions, open questions and next steps for the website redesign. Leave out anything marked internal.
What Olyvr does
Section titled “What Olyvr does”- Searches your workspace for the project’s sources and works out which versions are current.
- Creates the pack as a draft, citing the source of each point.
- Lists what it left out as internal or outdated, and the questions it couldn’t answer.
- You review the draft, accept or reject changes, and export it.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”- The pack reflects the latest decisions, not an older specification.
- Internal material is absent from the body, the citations and the file name.
- Open questions are listed as questions, not answered with guesses.
- Before you share the file, confirm that only the intended people can open the folder or link.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- A source is outdated: tell Olyvr which document is current and ask it to rebuild that section.
- Something internal slipped in: reject that change in the review panel, or ask Olyvr to remove it, then check the citations too.
- The audience is unclear: name the people or team and what they already know, so Olyvr pitches the pack correctly.
