Add retrospective sticky notes to a Miro board
Give Olyvr your retro points and it adds them to the right frame on your Miro board as sticky notes, grouped the way you ask.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The Miro plugin, connected and signed in to the Miro account that can edit the board.
- The board and frame name, or a link to the board.
Ask Olyvr
Section titled “Ask Olyvr”Add these three notes to the Launch Retro frame on the Team Retros board, grouped under Keep, Change and Try: Keep: daily check-ins. Change: fewer late scope changes. Try: a shared release checklist.
What Olyvr does
Section titled “What Olyvr does”- Finds the board and the frame. If more than one board has a frame with that name, it asks which one you mean.
- Shows the text of each note, its group, and where it will go.
- Tells you before it starts if it can’t place notes exactly, and describes the layout it will use instead.
- Asks you to approve, then creates the notes.
- Reads the board back and reports which notes it created.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”- Open the board and go to the frame.
- Exactly three new notes appear, inside the frame, with the text you approved.
- The notes are readable and don’t overlap each other or existing items.
- Nothing that was already on the board has changed.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- The board is read-only for you. Ask the board owner for edit access, then try again.
- Only some notes were created. Ask Olyvr which notes exist before retrying, so you don’t end up with duplicates.
- A note is very long. Shorten it, or ask Olyvr to split it, so it stays readable on the board.
