Log a customer call in HubSpot
Tell Olyvr what happened on a call and it logs a note on the right contact in HubSpot, after you check the text and the record it’s attached to.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The HubSpot plugin, set up by an admin and signed in with an account that can write to your CRM.
- Enough detail to identify the contact, such as their company or email address.
Ask Olyvr
Section titled “Ask Olyvr”Log this call on Maya Chen’s contact record at Acme. She confirmed the pilot starts in March, wants pricing for 50 seats, and asked for a security review. Don’t change any contact properties.
What Olyvr does
Section titled “What Olyvr does”- Searches for the contact. If more than one person matches, it shows them with their company and email and asks which one you mean.
- Shows the note text and the contact it will attach to.
- Asks you to approve, then logs the note.
- Reads it back to confirm it’s linked to the chosen contact.
Logging a note doesn’t send an email or create a follow-up task. Olyvr tells you which of these it did.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”- Open the contact in HubSpot. One new note appears with all the points you approved.
- The contact’s properties are unchanged.
- Any other contact with the same name has no new note.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- Sign-in isn’t available. An admin needs to register the HubSpot app first. See plugins.
- Permission denied. Your HubSpot account may not be allowed to write notes. Ask your HubSpot admin.
- The note was created but not linked. Ask Olyvr to link the existing note rather than logging the call again.
