Read your Google Calendar
Ask about your schedule and Olyvr lists the events, with attendees and meeting links when you need them. It only reads your calendar. It never creates, changes or deletes events.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- A Google account connected in Memory Data Sources.
- The built-in Google Calendar plugin, set to that account. Accounts connected before Calendar access was added must sign in with Google again.
Ask Olyvr
Section titled “Ask Olyvr”Show my work calendar events from October 19 to October 23, in Pacific time.
Give exact dates for the clearest answer. Without a range, Olyvr looks at the next 7 days.
What Olyvr does
Section titled “What Olyvr does”- Uses the Google account the plugin is set to, and your primary calendar unless you name another one. It can list the calendars that account can see.
- Lists the events in the range, earliest first. Recurring events show each occurrence.
- Reads a single event in full when you ask, including its description, attendees and meeting link.
Reading your calendar doesn’t need approval, since nothing changes.
Times you give without a time zone are read in your own time zone. If you ask for another one, check the answer uses it.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”- Compare the list with Google Calendar for the same range and calendar.
- All-day events should appear as all-day, not as timed events at midnight.
- Times near a daylight saving change should match what Google Calendar shows.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- No events: Olyvr should tell you whether the calendar is empty for that range or it couldn’t read it. If it couldn’t, sign in with Google again.
- Wrong account’s calendar: the plugin reads one Google account at a time. Check which account it is set to.
