My Day

Open My Day at the top of the sidebar. The page itself is still headed Today’s Focus.

Sync pulls in new Slack and Gmail mentions, then asks your model to find tasks in your workspace documents: things you owe, things others owe you, and decisions waiting on you. Each task is kept only if the model can quote the passage it came from, so you can always see why it’s there.

For each task you can edit the title, owner and due date, and mark it done, later or dismissed. Dismissed tasks can be restored.

Response on an email, Slack message, Jira issue, Confluence page or Docs comment opens a reply card beside the page: the message, a plan, and a draft reply. The plan starts with two steps; add, rename or remove steps to say what the reply needs (“Find the Q4 sheet”, “Check when I’m free on Tuesday”).

Run the plan has Olyvr work through the steps: it looks things up in your workspace, your mail, Google Drive or OneDrive, Slack and Google Calendar (reading only, nothing is sent or changed), then writes the draft from what it found, with the links and times it turned up. Each step shows what it came to, and anything you had typed into the draft is kept. Redraft rewrites the draft from what is in the box without looking anything up. Then copy the reply or open it in its own app, and send it from there: for Gmail, Open as draft puts the reply on the thread as a Gmail draft; elsewhere the reply is copied for you to paste. Olyvr doesn’t send the reply itself. Once it’s gone, Done ticks the item off in My Day.

For a bigger task, ask Olyvr to make a plan. It writes up to 12 steps that you track as open, doing, blocked, done or skipped. When every step is done or skipped, the linked tasks are marked done.

Tasks and plans need a model. Manual task changes do not.
