Submit a web form and check the result

Olyvr can fill in a web form for you, let you check every field before it submits, and bring back the confirmation page.

  • The Playwright plugin, installed from the catalog and connected.
  • The form’s web address.
  • Approvals left on Ask for approval, so you can check the final click before it happens.

Open https://forms.example.com/feedback, submit this feedback, and show me the confirmation: “The export button is hard to find on small screens.”

  1. Opens the address you gave. If the site needs a sign-in, Olyvr stops and tells you. The plugin’s browser doesn’t share the sign-ins in your usual browser.
  2. Fills in the fields.
  3. Reads back the values it entered and shows them to you before submitting.
  4. Asks for approval before the submit click. Each browser action is a plugin tool call, so in Ask for approval mode you approve each one, including that click.
  5. Clicks submit once and reads the confirmation page.
  6. Shows you the confirmation and any reference number on it, and can take a screenshot.
  • The confirmation page or reference number matches what Olyvr reported.
  • If the site lists your submissions, there is exactly one new entry, with the values you approved.
  • The form shows a validation error: Olyvr reports it and the values it tried. Correct them and ask it to try again.
  • The page layout changed: Olyvr reads the page as it is now and may not find a field. Tell it which field you mean.
  • The page didn’t load after submitting: check the site for a new entry before you ask Olyvr to submit again, so you don’t send it twice.
  • Text on the page tells Olyvr to do something else: decline any approval that doesn’t match what you asked for.
